Hastening towards the caller. The disbelievers will say: "This is a hard Day."

On the Day when the Summoning Voice will summon [man] unto something that the mind cannot. conceive,

اس بلانے والے کی طرف دوڑتے جاتے ہوں گے۔ کافر کہیں گے یہ دن بڑا سخت ہے

{ مُهْطِعِينَ إِلَى الدَّاعِ } أي: مسرعين لإجابة النداء الداعي وهذا يدل على أن الداعي يدعوهم ويأمرهم بالحضور لموقف القيامة، فيلبون دعوته، ويسرعون إلى إجابته، { يَقُولُ الْكَافِرُونَ } الذين قد حضر عذابهم: { هَذَا يَوْمٌ عَسِرٌ } كما قال تعالى { على الكافرين غير يسير } [مفهوم ذلك أنه يسير سهل على المؤمنين]

ذليلة أبصارهم يخرجون من القبور كأنهم في انتشارهم وسرعة سيرهم للحساب جرادٌ منتشر في الآفاق، مسرعين إلى ما دُعُوا إليه، يقول الكافرون: هذا يوم عسر شديد الهول.

أي مسرعين "إلى الداعي" لا يخالفون ولا يتأخرون "يقول الكافرون هذا يوم عسر" أي يوم شديد الهول عبوس قمطرير "فذلك يوم عسير على الكافرين غير يسير".

The terrible End the Disbelievers will meet on the Day of Resurrection Allah the Exalted says, `O Muhammad, turn away from these people who, when they witness a miracle, they deny it and say that this is continuous magic.' Turn away from them and wait until, يَوْمَ يَدْعُو الدَّاعِ إِلَى شَىْءٍ نُّكُرٍ (The Day that the caller will call (them) to a terrible thing.) to the Recompense and the afflictions, horrors and tremendous hardships that it brings forth, خُشَّعاً أَبْصَـرُهُمْ (with humbled eyes), their eyes will be covered with disgrace, يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الاٌّجْدَاثِ كَأَنَّهُمْ جَرَادٌ مُّنتَشِرٌ (they will come forth from (their) graves as if they were locusts spread abroad.) They will gather towards the area of Reckoning in such haste and crowds, in response to the caller, as if they were crowds of locusts spreading all about. Allah said, مُهْطِعِينَ (Hastening) meaing hurriedly, إِلَى الدَّاعِ (towards the caller.) without being able to hesitate or slow down, يَقُولُ الْكَـفِرُونَ هَـذَا يَوْمٌ عَسِرٌ (The disbelievers will say: "This is a hard Day."), meaing, `this is a hard, terrible, horrifying and distressful Day,' فَذَلِكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَوْمٌ عَسِيرٌ - عَلَى الْكَـفِرِينَ غَيْرُ يَسِيرٍ (Truly, that Day will be a Hard Day -- far from easy for the dis- believers.) (74:9-10)

معجزات بھی بےاثر ارشاد ہوتا ہے کہ اے نبی ﷺ تم ان کافروں کو جنہیں معجزہ وغیرہ بھی کار آمد نہیں چھوڑ دو ان سے منہ پھیر لو اور انہیں قیامت کے انتظار میں رہنے دو ، اس دن انہیں حساب کی جگہ ٹھہرنے کے لئے ایک پکارنے والا پکارے گا جو ہولناک جگہ ہوگی جہاں بلائیں اور آفات ہوں گی ان کے چہروں پر ذلت اور کمینگی برس رہی ہوگی، مارے ندامت کے آنکھیں نیچے کو جھکی ہوئی ہوں گی اور قبروں سے نکلیں گے، پھر ٹڈی دل کی طرح یہ بھی انتشار و سرعت کے ساتھ میدان حساب کی طرف بھاگیں گے پکارنے والے کی پکار پر کان ہوں گے اور تیز تیز چل رہے ہوں گے نہ مخالفت کی تاب ہے نہ دیر لگانے کی طاقت، اس سخت ہولناکی کے سخت دن کو دیکھ کر کافر چیخ اٹھیں گے کہ یہ تو بڑا بھاری اور بیحد سخت دن ہے۔
