Full Sharh — Bulugh al-Maram 1531
وَعَنِ اِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا; أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { "لَا تَتَّخِذُوا شَيْئاً فِيهِ اَلرُّوحُ غَرَضًا" } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ (1752) .4 - صحيح. رواه مسلم ( 1957 ). والغرض: الهدف.
English Translation
Ibn 'Abbas (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:: "Do not take any living creature as a target."Related by Muslim.
