And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is?

And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be?

اور تمہیں کیا معلوم کہ جزا کا دن کیسا ہے؟

{ وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ ثُمَّ مَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ } ففي هذا تهويل لذلك اليوم الشديد الذي يحير الأذهان.

وما أدراك ما عظمة يوم الحساب، ثم ما أدراك ما عظمةُ يوم الحساب؟ يوم الحساب لا يقدر أحد على نفع أحد، والأمر في ذلك اليوم لله وحده الذي لا يغلبه غالب، ولا يقهره قاهر، ولا ينازعه أحد.

تعظيم لشأن يوم القيامة.

The Reward of the Righteous &the Sinners Allah informs of what the righteous will receive of delight They are those who obeyed Allah and did not meet Him with disobedience (sins). Then He mentions that the evildoers will be in Hell and eternal torment. Due to this He says, يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ (Therein they will enter, and taste its burning flame on the Day of Recompense,) meaning, the Day of Reckoning, Recompense, and Judgement. وَمَا هُمَ عَنْهَا بِغَآئِبِينَ (And they will not be absent therefrom.) meaning, they will not be absent for even one hour from the torment. The torment will not be lightened from them, nor will they be granted the death that they will be requesting, or any rest -- not even for a single day. Allah then says, وَمَآ أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ (And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is) This is a magnification of the affair of the Day of Judgement. Then Allah affirms it by saying, ثُمَّ مَآ أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ (Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is) Then He explains this by saying, يَوْمَ لاَ تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِنَفْسٍ شَيْئاً ((It will be) the Day when no person shall have power for another, ) meaning, no one will be able to benefit anyone else, or help him out of that which he will be in, unless Allah gives permission to whomever He wishes and is pleased with. We will mention here a Hadith (where the Prophet said), «يَا بَنِي هَاشِم، أَنْقِذُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ مِنَ النَّارِ لَا أَمْلِكُ لَكُمْ مِنَ اللهِ شَيْئًا» (O children of Hashim! Save yourselves from the Fire, for I have no power to cause you any benefit from Allah.) This has been mentioned previously at the end of the Tafsir of Surat Ash-Shu`ara' (see 26:214). Thus, Allah says, وَالاٌّمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلَّهِ (and the Decision, that Day, will be with Allah.) "By Allah, the Decision is for Allah today (now), but on that Day no one will try to dispute with Him about it." This is the end of the Tafsir of Surat Al-Infitar. All praise and blessings are due to Allah, and He is the Giver of success and freedom from error.

ابرار کا کردار جو لوگ اللہ تعالیٰ کے اطاعت گزار فرمانبردار، گناہوں سے دور رہتے ہیں انہیں اللہ تعالیٰ جنت کی خوش خبری دیتا ہے حدیث میں ہے کہ انہیں ابرار اس لیے کہا جاتا ہے کہ یہ اپنے ماں باپ کے فرمانبردار تھے اور اپنی اولاد کے ساتھ نیک سلوک کرتے تھے، بدکار لوگ دائمی عذاب میں پڑیں گے، قیامت کے دن جو حساب کا اور بدلے کا دن ہے ان کا داخلہ اس میں ہوگا ایک ساعت بھی ان پر عذاب ہلکا نہ ہوگا نہ موت آئے گی نہ راحت ملے گی نہ ایک ذرا سی دیر اس سے الگ ہوں گے۔ پھر قیامت کی بڑائی اور اس دن کی ہولناکی ظاہر کرنے کے لیے دو دو بار فرمایا کہ تمہیں کس چیز نے معلوم کرایا کہ وہ دن کیسا ہے ؟ پھر خود ہی بتلایا کہ اس دن کوئی کسی کو کچھ بھی نفع نہ پہنچا سکے گا نہ عذاب سے نجات دلا سکے گا۔ ہاں یہ اور بات ہے کہ کسی کی سفارش کی اجازت خود اللہ تبارک و تعالیٰ عطا فرمائے۔ اس موقعہ پر یہ حدیث وارد کرنی بالکل مناسب ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا اے بنو ہاشم اپنی جانوں کو جہنم سے بچانے کے لیے نیک اعمال کی تیاریاں کرلو میں تمہیں اس دن اللہ تعالیٰ کے عذاب سے بچانے کا اختیار نہیں رکھتا۔ یہ حدیث سورة شعراء کی تفسیر کے آخر میں گزر چکی ہے۔ یہاں بھی فرمایا کہ اس دن امر محض اللہ کا ہی ہوگا۔ جیسے اور جگہ ہے آیت (لِمَنِ الْمُلْكُ الْيَوْمَ ۭ لِلّٰهِ الْوَاحِدِ الْقَهَّارِ 16؀) 40۔ غافر :16) اور جگہ ارشاد ہے آیت (اَلْمُلْكُ يَوْمَىِٕذِۨ الْحَقُّ للرَّحْمٰنِ ۭ وَكَانَ يَوْمًا عَلَي الْكٰفِرِيْنَ عَسِيْرًا 26؀) 25۔ الفرقان :26) اور فرمایا آیت (مٰلِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّيْنِ ۭ) 1۔ الفاتحة :4) مطلب سب کا یہی ہے کہ ملک و ملکیت اس دن صرف اللہ واحد قہار و رحمٰن کی ہی ہوگی۔ گو آج بھی اسی کی ملکیت ہے وہ ہی تنہا مالک ہے اسی کا حکم چلتا ہے مگر وہاں ظاہر داری حکومت، ملکیت اور امر بھی نہ ہوگا۔ سورة انفطار کی تفسیر ختم ہوئی۔ فالحمد اللہ۔
