It almost bursts up with fury. Every time a group is cast therein, its keeper will ask: "Did no warner come to you?"

They will reply: Yea, a warner did indeed come unto us, but we gave him the lie and said, ‘Never has God sent down anything [by way of revelation]! You [self-styled warners] are but lost in a great delusion!’

گویا مارے جوش کے پھٹ پڑے گی۔ جب اس میں ان کی کوئی جماعت ڈالی جائے گی تو دوزخ کے داروغہ ان سے پوچھیں گے کہ تمہارے پاس کوئی ہدایت کرنے والا نہیں آیا تھا؟

{ تَكَادُ تَمَيَّزُ مِنَ الْغَيْظِ } أي: تكاد على اجتماعها أن يفارق بعضها بعضًا، وتتقطع من شدة غيظها على الكفار، فما ظنك ما تفعل بهم، إذا حصلوا فيها؟\" ثم ذكر توبيخ الخزنة لأهلها فقال: { كُلَّمَا أُلْقِيَ فِيهَا فَوْجٌ سَأَلَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَا أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَذِيرٌ } ؟ أي: حالكم هذا واستحقاقكم النار، كأنكم لم تخبروا عنها، ولم تحذركم النذر منها.

تكاد جهنم تتمزق مِن شدة غضبها على الكفار، كلما طُرح فيها جماعة من الناس سألهم الموكلون بأمرها على سبيل التوبيخ: ألم يأتكم في الدنيا رسول يحذركم هذا العذاب الذي أنتم فيه؟

وقوله تعالى "تكاد تميز من الغيظ" أي يكاد ينفصل بعضها من بعض من شدة غيظها عليهم وحنقها بهم "كلما ألقي فيها فوج سألهم خزنتها ألم يأتكم نذير".

The Description of Hell and Those Who will enter into it Allah the Exalted says, وَ (and) meaning, `and We have prepared,' لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْبِرَبِّهِمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ (for those who disbelieve in their Lord is the torment of Hell, and worst indeed is that destination.) This means that this will be the worst end and a terrible destiny. إِذَآ أُلْقُواْ فِيهَا سَمِعُواْ لَهَا شَهِيقًا (When they are cast therein, they will hear its Shahiq) Ibn Jarir said, "This means the sound of shouting." وَهِىَ تَفُورُ (while it is simmering.) Ath-Thawri said, "It will boil them just as a small number of seeds are boiled in a lot of water." Then Allah says, تَكَادُ تَمَيَّزُ مِنَ الغَيْظِ (It almost bursts up with fury.) meaning, some parts of it almost break apart from other parts due to the severity of its rage and anger with them. تَكَادُ تَمَيَّزُ مِنَ الغَيْظِ كُلَّمَا أُلْقِىَ فِيهَا فَوْجٌ سَأَلَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَآ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَذِيرٌ - قَالُواْ بَلَى قَدْ جَآءَنَا نَذِيرٌ فَكَذَّبْنَا وَقُلْنَا مَا نَزَّلَ اللَّهُ مِن شَىْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلاَّ فِى ضَلَـلٍ كَبِيرٍ (Every time a group is cast therein, its keepers will ask: "Did no warner come to you" They will say: "Yes, indeed a warner did come to us, but we rejected him and said: `Allah never sent down anything; you are only in great error."') In these Ayat Allah reminds of His justice in dealing with His creatures and that He does not punish anyone until the proof has been established against them and a Messenger has been sent to them. This is similar to Allah's statement, وَمَا كُنَّا مُعَذِّبِينَ حَتَّى نَبْعَثَ رَسُولاً (And We never punish until We have sent a Messenger.) 17:15 Allah also says, حَتَّى إِذَا جَآءُوهَا فُتِحَتْ أَبْوَبُهَا وَقَالَ لَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَآ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّنكُمْ يَتْلُونَ عَلَيْكُمْ ءَايَـتِ رَبِّكُمْ وَيُنذِرُونَكُمْ لِقَـآءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَـذَا قَالُواْ بَلَى وَلَـكِنْ حَقَّتْ كَلِمَةُ الْعَذَابِ عَلَى الْكَـفِرِينَ (till when they reach it, the gates thereof will be opened. And its keepers will say, "Did not the Messengers come to you from yourselves, reciting to you the Ayat of your Lord, and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours" They will say: "Yes," but the Word of torment has been justified against the disbelievers!") 39:71 Thus, they have no recourse but to blame themselves and they will feel remorseful when such remorse will be of no benefit to them. They will say, لَوْ كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ أَوْ نَعْقِلُ مَا كُنَّا فِى أَصْحَـبِ السَّعِيرِ (Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we would not have been among the dwellers of the blazing Fire!) meaning, `if we would have benefited from our intellects or listened to the truth that Allah revealed, we would not have been disbelieving in Allah and misguided about Him. But we did not have understanding to comprehend what the Messengers came with, and we did not have the intelligence to guide us to following them.' Allah then says, فَاعْتَرَفُواْ بِذَنبِهِمْ فَسُحْقًا لاًّصْحَـبِ السَّعِيرِ (Then they will confess their sin. So, away with the dwellers of the blazing Fire!) Imam Ahmad recorded from Abu Al-Bakhtari At-Ta'i that he heard from one of the Companions that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, «لَنْ يَهْلِكَ النَّاسُ حَتْى يُعْذِرُوا مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِم» (The people will not be destroyed until they themselves confess their guilt.)

جہنم کا داروغہ سوال کرے گا اللہ تعالیٰ کا ارشاد ہے کہ جو بھی اس کے ساتھ کفر کرے، وہ جہنمی ہے اس کا انجام اور جگہ بد سے بد ہے۔ یہ بلند اور مکروہ گدھے کی سی آوازیں مارنے والی اور جوش مارنے والی جہنم ہے جو ان پر جل رہی ہے اور جوش اور غضب سے اس طرح کچ کچا رہی ہے کہ گویا ابھی ٹوٹ پھوٹ جائے گی، اور دوزخیوں کو زیادہ ذلیل کرنے اور آخری حجت قائم کرنے اور اقبالی مجرم بنانے کے لئے داروغہ جہنم ان سے پوچھتے ہیں کہ بدنصیبو ! کیا اللہ کے رسولوں نے تمہیں اس سے ڈرایا نہ تھا ؟ تو یہ ہائے وائے کرتے ہوئے اپنی جانوں کو کو ستے ہوئے جواب دیتے ہیں کہ آئے تو تھے لیکن وائے بدنصیبی کہ ہم نے انہیں جھوٹا جانا اور اللہ کی کتاب کو بھی نہ مانا اور پیغمبروں کو بےراہ بتایا، اب عدل اللہ صاف ثابت ہوچکا ہے اور فرمان باری پورا اترتا ہے جو اس نے فرمایا آیت (وَمَا كُنَّا مُعَذِّبِيْنَ حَتّٰى نَبْعَثَ رَسُوْلًا 15؀) 17۔ الإسراء :15) ترجمہ ہم جب تک رسول نہ بھیج دیں عذاب نہیں کرتے اور جگہ ارشاد ہے آیت (وَسِيْقَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْٓا اِلٰى جَهَنَّمَ زُمَرًا ۭ حَتّىٰٓ اِذَا جَاۗءُوْهَا فُتِحَتْ اَبْوَابُهَا وَقَالَ لَهُمْ خَزَنَــتُهَآ اَلَمْ يَاْتِكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّنْكُمْ يَتْلُوْنَ عَلَيْكُمْ اٰيٰتِ رَبِّكُمْ وَيُنْذِرُوْنَكُمْ لِقَاۗءَ يَوْمِكُمْ ھٰذَا ۭ قَالُوْا بَلٰى وَلٰكِنْ حَقَّتْ كَلِمَةُ الْعَذَابِ عَلَي الْكٰفِرِيْنَ 71؀) 39۔ الزمر :71) ترجمہ الخ جب جہنمی جہنم کے پاس پہنچ جائیں گے اور جہنم کے دروازے کھول دیئے جائیں گے اور داروغہ جہنم ان سے پوچھیں گے کہ کیا تمہارے پاس تم میں سے ہی رسول نہیں آئے تھے ؟ جو تم پر تمہارے رب کی آیتیں پڑھتے تھے اور تمہیں اس دن کی ملاقات سے ڈراتے تھے تو کہیں گے ہاں آئے تو تھے اور ڈرا بھی دیا تھا لیکن کافروں پر کلمہ عذاب حق ہوگیا، اب اپنے آپ کو ملامت کریں گے اور کہیں گے کہ اگر ہمارے کان ہوتے اگر ہم میں عقل ہوتی تو دھوکے میں نہ پڑے رہتے، اپنے خالق مالک کے ساتھ کفر نہ کرتے، نہ رسولوں کو جھٹلاتے، نہ ان کی تابعداری سے منہ موڑتے اللہ تعالیٰ فرمائے گا اب تو انہوں نے خود اپنے گناہوں کا اقرار کرلیا ان کے لئے لعنت ہو دوری ہو، رسول اللہ ﷺ فرماتے ہیں لوگ جب تک دنیا میں اپنے آپ میں غور کریں گے اور اپنی برائیوں کو آپ دیکھ لیں گے ہلاک نہ ہوں گے (مسند احمد) اور حدیث میں ہے کہ قیامت والے دن اس طرح حجت قائم کی جائے گی کہ خود انسان سمجھ لے گا کہ میں دوزخ میں جانے کے ہی قابل ہوں (مسند احمد)
