Ayah Study

Wherewith Allâh guides all those who seek His Good Pleasure to ways of peace, and He brings them out of darkness by His Will unto light and guides them to the Straight Way (Islâmic Monotheism).

O YOU who have attained to faith! Be ever steadfast in your devotion to God, bearing witness to the truth in all equity; and never let hatred of anyone lead you into the sin of deviating from justice. Be just: this is closest to being God-conscious. And remain conscious of God: verily, God is aware of all that you do.

جس سے خدا اپنی رضا پر چلنے والوں کو نجات کے رستے دکھاتا ہے اور اپنے حکم سے اندھیرے میں سے نکال کر روشنی کی طرف لے جاتا اور ان کو سیدھے رستہ پر چلاتا ہے

{ يَهْدِي بِهِ اللَّهُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضْوَانَهُ سُبُلَ السَّلَامِ ْ} أي: يهدي به من اجتهد وحرص على بلوغ مرضاة الله، وصار قصده حسنا -سبل السلام التي تسلم صاحبها من العذاب، وتوصله إلى دار السلام، وهو العلم بالحق والعمل به، إجمالا وتفصيلا. { وَيُخْرِجُهُم مِّن ْ} ظلمات الكفر والبدعة والمعصية، والجهل والغفلة، إلى نور الإيمان والسنة والطاعة والعلم، والذكر. وكل هذه الهداية بإذن الله، الذي ما شاء كان، وما لم يشأ لم يكن. { وَيَهْدِيهِمْ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ ْ}

يهدي الله بهذا الكتاب المبين من اتبع رضا الله تعالى، طرق الأمن والسلامة، ويخرجهم بإذنه من ظلمات الكفر إلى نور الإيمان، ويوفقهم إلى دينه القويم.

فقال " يهدي به الله من اتبع رضوانه سبل السلام " أي طرق النجاة والسلامة ومناهج الاستقامة " ويخرجهم من الظلمات إلى النور بإذنه ويهديهم إلى صراط مستقيم " أي ينجيهم من المهالك ويوضح لهم أبين المسالك فيصرف عنهم المحذور ويحصل لهم أحب الأمور وينفي عنهم الضلالة ويرشدهم إلى أقوم حالة.

Explaining the Truth Through the Messenger and the Qur'an Allah states that He sent His Messenger Muhammad ﷺ with the guidance and the religion of truth to all the people of the earth, the Arabs and non-Arabs, lettered and unlettered. Allah also states that He sent Muhammad with clear evidences and the distinction between truth and falsehood. Allah said, يَـأَهْلَ الْكِتَـبِ قَدْ جَآءَكُمْ رَسُولُنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَكُمْ كَثِيراً مِّمَّا كُنتُمْ تُخْفُونَ مِنَ الْكِتَـبِ وَيَعْفُواْ عَن كَثِيرٍ (O People of the Scripture! Now has come to you Our Messenger explaining to you much of that which you used to hide from the Scripture and passing over much.) So the Prophet explained where they altered, distorted, changed and lied about Allah. He also ignored much of what they changed, since it would not bring about any benefit if it was explained. In his Mustadrak, Al-Hakim recorded that Ibn `Abbas said, "He who disbelieves in stoning (the adulterer to death) will have inadvertently disbelieved in the Qur'an, for Allah said, يَـأَهْلَ الْكِتَـبِ قَدْ جَآءَكُمْ رَسُولُنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَكُمْ كَثِيراً مِّمَّا كُنتُمْ تُخْفُونَ مِنَ الْكِتَـبِ (O People of the Scripture! Now has come to you Our Messenger explaining to you much of that which you used to hide from the Scripture) and stoning was among the things that they used to hide." Al-Hakim said, "Its chain is Sahih, and they did not record it." Allah next mentions the Glorious Qur'an that He sent down to His honorable Prophet , قَدْ جَآءَكُمْ مِّنَ اللَّهِ نُورٌ وَكِتَـبٌ مُّبِينٌيَهْدِى بِهِ اللَّهُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضْوَانَهُ سُبُلَ السَّلَـمِ (Indeed, there has come to you from Allah a light and a plain Book. Wherewith Allah guides all those who seek His pleasure to ways of peace.) meaning, ways of safety and righteousness, وَيُخْرِجُهُمْ مِّنِ الظُّلُمَـتِ إِلَى النُّورِ بِإِذْنِهِ وَيَهْدِيهِمْ إِلَى صِرَطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ (and He brings them out of darkness by His permission unto light and guides them to a straight path.) He thus saves them from destruction and explains to them the best, most clear path. Therefore, He protects them from what they fear, and brings about the best of what they long for, all the while ridding them of misguidance and directing them to the best, most righteous state of being.

علمی بددیانت فرماتا ہے کہ رب العلی نے اپنے عالی قدر رسول حضرت محمد ﷺ کو ہدایت اور دین حق کے ساتھ تمام مخلوق کی طرف بھیج دیا ہے، معجزے اور روشن دلیلیں انہیں عطا فرمائی ہیں جو باتیں یہود و نصاریٰ نے بدل ڈالی تھیں، تاویلیں کر کے دوسرے مطلب بنا لئے تھے اور اللہ کی ذات پر بہتان باندھتے تھے، کتاب اللہ کے جو حصے اپنے نفس کے خلاف پاتے تھے، انہیں چھپالیتے تھے، ان سب علمی بد دیانتیوں کو یہ رسول ﷺ بےنقاب کرتے ہیں۔ ہاں جس کے بیان کی ضرورت ہی نہ ہو، بیان نہیں فرماتے۔ مستدرک حاکم میں ہے " جس نے رجم کے مسئلہ کا انکار کیا، اس نے بےعملی سے قرآن سے انکار کیا " چناچہ اس آیت میں اسی رجم کے چھپانے کا ذکر ہے، پھر قرآن عظیم کی بابت فرماتا ہے کہ " اسی نے اس نبی کریم پر اپنی یہ کتاب اتاری ہے، جو جویائے حق کو سلامتی کی راہ بتاتی ہے، لوگوں کو ظلمتوں سے نکال کر نور کی طرف لے جاتی ہے اور راہ مستقیم کی رہبر ہے۔ اس کتاب کی وجہ سے اللہ کے انعاموں کو حاصل کرلینا اور اس کی سزاؤں سے بچ جانا بالکل آسان ہوگیا ہے یہ ضلالت کو مٹا دینے والی اور ہدایت کو واضح کردینے والی ہے۔ "
