Ayah Study

To Allâh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is therein, and He is Able to do all things.

O YOU who have attained to faith! Let there be witnesses to what you do when death approaches you and you are about to make bequests: two persons of probity from among your own people, or – if the pangs of death come upon you while you are traveling far from home – two other persons from [among people] other than your own. Take hold of the two after having prayed; and if you have any doubt in your mind, let each of them swear by God, We shall not sell this [our word] for any price, even though it were [for the sake of] a near kinsman; and neither shall we conceal aught of what we have witnessed before God – or else, may we indeed be counted among the sinful.

آسمان اور زمین اور جو کچھ ان (دونوں) میں ہے سب پر خدا ہی کی بادشاہی ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے

{ لِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ } لأنه الخالق لهما والمدبر لذلك بحكمه القدري، وحكمه الشرعي، وحكمه الجزائي، ولهذا قال: { وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ } فلا يعجزه شيء، بل جميع الأشياء منقادة لمشيئته، ومسخرة بأمره. تم تفسير سورة المائدة بفضل من الله وإحسان، والحمد لله رب العالمين

لله وحده لا شريك له ملك السموات والأرض وما فيهن، وهو -سبحانه- على كل شيء قدير لا يعجزه شيء.

قوله "لله ملك السموات والأرض وما فيهن وهو على كل شيء قدير" أي هو الخالق للأشياء المالك لها المتصرف فيها القادر عليها فالجميع ملكه وتحت قهره وقدرته وفي مشيئته فلا نظير له ولا وزير ولا عديل ولا والد ولا ولد ولا صاحبة ولا إله غيره ولا رب سواه. قال ابن وهب: سمعت حيي بن عبدالله يحدث عن أبي عبدالرحمن الحبلي عن عبدالله بن عمر قال آخر سورة نزلت سورة المائدة. "تم تفسير سورة المائدة ولله الحمد والمنة".

Only Truth will be of Benefit on the Day of Resurrection Allah answers His servant and Messenger `Isa, son of Maryam, after he disowns the disbelieving Christians who lied about Allah and His Messenger, and when `Isa refers their end to the will of his Lord, هَـذَا يَوْمُ يَنفَعُ الصَّـدِقِينَ صِدْقُهُمْ (This is a Day on which the truthful will profit from their truth.) Ad-Dahhak said that Ibn `Abbas commented, "This is the Day when Tawhid will benefit those who believed in it." لَهُمْ جَنَّـتٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا الاٌّنْهَـرُ خَـلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَداً (Theirs are Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise) -- they shall abide therein forever.) and they will never be removed from it, رِّضِىَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُواْ عَنْهُ (Allah is pleased with them and they with Him.) وَرِضْوَنٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ (But the greatest bliss is the good pleasure of Allah.) 9:72 We will mention the Hadiths about this Ayah 9:72 later on. Allah's statement, ذلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ (That is the great success.) means, this is the great success, other than which there is no greater success. Allah said in another Ayat, لِمِثْلِ هَـذَا فَلْيَعْمَلِ الْعَـمِلُونَ (For the like of this let the workers work.) 37:61, and, وَفِى ذَلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ الْمُتَنَـفِسُونَ (And for this let (all) those strive who want to strive.) 83:26 Allah's statement, للَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَـوَتِ وَالاٌّرْضِ وَمَا فِيهِنَّ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ (To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is therein, and He is able to do all things.) means, He created everything, owns everything, controls the affairs of everything and is able to do all things. Therefore, everything and everyone are in His domain and under His power and will. There is none like Him, nor is there rival, ancestor, son, or wife for Him, nor a lord or god besides Him. Ibn Wahb said that he heard Huyay bin `Abdullah saying that Abu `Abdur-Rahman Al-Habli said that `Abdullah bin `Amr said, "The last revealed Surah was Surat Al-Ma'idah."

موحدین کے لیے خوش خبریاں حضرت عیسیٰ بن مریم ؑ کو ان کی بات کا جو جواب قیامت کے دن ملے گا اس کا بیان ہو رہا ہے کہ آج کے دن موحدوں کو توحید نفع دے گی، وہ ہمیشگی والی جنت میں جائیں گے، وہ اللہ سے خوش ہوں گے اور اللہ ان سے خوش ہوگا، فی الواقع رب کی رضامندی زبر دست چیز ہے، ابن ابی حاتم کی حدیث میں ہے کہ پھر اللہ تعالیٰ ان پر تجلی فرمائے گا اور ان سے کہے گا تم جو چاہو مجھ سے مانگو میں دوں گا، وہ اللہ تعالیٰ سے اس کی خوشنودی طلب کریں گے، اللہ تعالیٰ سب کے سامنے اپنی رضامندی کا اظہار کرے گا، پھر فرماتا ہے یہ ایسی بےمثل کامیابی ہے جس سے بڑھ کر اور کوئی کامیابی نہیں ہوسکتی، جیسے اور جگہ ہے اسی کیلئے عمل کرنے والوں کو عمل کی کوشش کرنی چاہیے اور آیت میں ہے رغبت کرنے والے اس کی رغبت کرلیں، پھر فرماتا ہے سب کا خالق، سب کا مالک، سب پر قادر، سب کا متصرف اللہ تعالیٰ ہی ہے، ہر چیز اسی کی ملکیت میں اسی کے قبضے میں اسی کی چاہت میں ہے، اس جیسا کوئی نہیں، نہ کوئی اس کا وزیر و مشیر ہے، نہ کوئی نظیر و عدیل ہے نہ اس کی ماں ہے، نہ باپ، نہ اولاد نہ بیوی۔ اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں نہ کوئی اس کے سوا رب ہے، حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر ؓ فرماتے ہیں۔ سب سے آخری سورت یہی سورة مائدہ اتری ہے۔ (الحمد اللہ سورة مائدہ کی تفسیر ختم ہوئی)
