Ayah Study

Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Verily I am commanded to worship Allâh (Alone) by obeying Him and doing religious deeds sincerely for His sake only.

If you are ingrate – behold, God has no need of you; none the less, He does not approve of ingratitude in His servants: whereas, if you show gratitude, He approves it in you.

کہہ دو کہ مجھ سے ارشاد ہوا ہے کہ خدا کی عبادت کو خالص کرکے اس کی بندگی کروں

أي { قُلْ } يا أيها الرسول للناس: { إني أمرت أن أعبد الله مخلصا له الدين } في قوله في أول السورة: { فَاعْبُدِ اللَّهَ مُخْلِصًا لَهُ الدِّينَ }

قل -أيها الرسول- للناس: إن الله أمرني ومن تبعني بإخلاص العبادة له وحده دون سواه، وأمرني بأن أكون أول من أسلم من أمتي، فخضع له بالتوحيد، وأخلص له العبادة، وبرئ مِن كل ما دونه من الآلهة.

أي إنما أمرت بإخلاص العبادة لله وحده لا شريك له.

The Command for Taqwa, Emigration and to worship Him alone with all Sincerity Allah commands His believing servants to remain steadfast in their obedience and have Taqwa of Him. قُلْ يعِبَادِ الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ اتَّقُواْ رَبَّكُمْ لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُواْ فِى هَـذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةٌ (Say: "O My servants who believe, have Taqwa of your Lord. Good is for those who do good in this world...") means, the one who does good deeds in this world, will have a good (reward) in this world and in the Hereafter. وَأَرْضُ اللَّهِ وَاسِعَةٌ (and Allah's earth is spacious!) Mujahid said, "So emigrate through it and strive hard and keep away from idols." إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى الصَّـبِرُونَ أَجْرَهُمْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ (Only those who are patient shall receive their reward in full, without reckoning.) Al-`Awza`i said, "Their reward will not be weighed or measured; they will be given an immense reward." As-Suddi said: إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى الصَّـبِرُونَ أَجْرَهُمْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ (Only those who are patient shall receive their reward in full, without reckoning.) means, "In Paradise." قُلْ إِنِّى أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ مُخْلِصاً لَّهُ الدِّينَ (Say: "Verily, I am commanded to worship Allah, making religion sincerely for Him...") means, `I am commanded to worship Allah alone in all sincerity, with no partner or associate.' وَأُمِرْتُ لاًّنْ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ (And I am commanded (this) in order that I may be the first of the Muslims.)

ہرحال میں اللہ کی اطاعت لازمی ہے۔اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے ایمان دار بندوں کو اپنے رب کی اطاعت پر جمے رہنے کا اور ہر امر میں اس کی پاک ذات کا خیال رکھنے کا حکم دیتا ہے کہ جس نے اس دنیا میں نیکی کی اس کو اس دنیا میں اور آنے والی آخرت میں نیکی ہی نیکی ملے گی۔ تم اگر ایک جگہ اللہ کی عبادت استقلال سے نہ کرسکو تو دوسری جگہ چلے جاؤ اللہ کی زمین بہت وسیع ہے۔ معصیت سے بھاگتے رہو شرک کو منظور نہ کرو۔ صابروں کو ناپ تول اور حساب کے بغیر اجر ملتا ہے جنت انہی کی چیز ہے۔ مجھے اللہ کی خالص عبادت کرنے کا حکم ہوا ہے اور مجھ سے یہ بھی فرما دیا گیا ہے کہ اپنی تمام امت سے پہلے میں خود مسلمان ہوجاؤں اپنے آپ کو رب کے احکام کا عامل اور پابند کرلوں۔
