Ayah Study

And among His Signs is that the heaven and the earth stand by His Command. Then afterwards when He will call you by a single call, behold, you will come out from the earth (i.e. from your graves for reckoning and recompense).

And among His wonders is this: He displays before you the lightning, giving rise to [both] fear and hope, and sends down water from the skies, giving life thereby to the earth after it had been lifeless: in this, behold, there are messages indeed for people who use their reason!

اور اسی کے نشانات (اور تصرفات) میں سے ہے کہ آسمان اور زمین اس کے حکم سے قائم ہیں۔ پھر جب وہ تم کو زمین میں سے (نکلنے کے لئے) آواز دے گا تو تم جھٹ نکل پڑو گے

أي: ومن آياته العظيمة أن قامت السماوات والأرض واستقرتا وثبتتا بأمره فلم تتزلزلا ولم تسقط السماء على الأرض، فقدرته العظيمة التي بها أمسك السماوات والأرض أن تزولا، يقدر بها أنه إذا دعا الخلق دعوة من الأرض إذا هم يخرجون { لَخَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ خَلْقِ النَّاسِ }

ومن آياته الدالة على قدرته قيام السماء والأرض واستقرارهما وثباتهما بأمره، فلم تتزلزلا ولم تسقط السماء على الأرض، ثم إذا دعاكم الله إلى البعث يوم القيامة، إذا أنتم تخرجون من القبور مسرعين.

يقول تعالى "وله من في السموات والأرض" أي ملكه وعبيده "كل له قانتون" أي خاضعون خاشعون طوعا وكرها. وفي حديث دراج عن أبي الهيثم عن أبي سعيد مرفوعا "كل حرف في القرآن يذكر فيه القنوت فهو الطاعة".

وَمِنْ ءَايَـتِهِ (And among His signs) which speak of His greatness, يُرِيكُمُ الْبَرْقَ خَوْفاً وَطَمَعاً (He shows you the lightning, for fear and for hope,) Sometimes you fear the heavy rain and destructive thunderbolts that follow it, and sometimes you feel hope, when you see a flash of lightning, that much-needed rain will come. Allah says: وَيُنَزِّلُ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَيُحْىِ بِهِ الاٌّرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا (and He sends down water from the sky, and therewith revives the earth after its death.) After it was barren, with nothing growing there, then the water comes to it and اهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْ وَأَنبَتَتْ مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍ بَهِيجٍ (it is stirred, and it swells and puts forth every lovely kind (of growth).) (22:5). In this is a clear sign and proof of the resurrection and the coming of the Hour. Allah says: إِنَّ فِى ذلِكَ لآيَـتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ (Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who understand.) Then Allah says: وَمِنْ ءَايَـتِهِ أَن تَقُومَ السَّمَآءُ وَالاٌّرْضُ بِأَمْرِهِ (And among His signs is that the heaven and the earth stand by His command.) This is like the Ayat: وَيُمْسِكُ السَّمَآءَ أَن تَقَعَ عَلَى الاٌّرْضِ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِهِ (He withholds the heaven from falling on the earth except by His leave) (22: 65). إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُمْسِكُ السَّمَـوَتِ وَالاٌّرْضَ أَن تَزُولاَ (Verily, Allah grasps the heavens and the earth lest they should move away from their places) (35:41). Whenever `Umar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, swore an emphatic oath, he would say, "No, by the One by Whose command the heaven and the earth stand," i.e., they stand firm by His command to them and His subjugation of them. Then, when the Day of Resurrection comes, the Day when the earth will be exchanged with another earth and the dead will come forth from their graves, brought back to life by His command and His call to them, ثُمَّ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ دَعْوَةً مِّنَ الاٌّرْضِ إِذَآ أَنتُمْ تَخْرُجُونَ (Then afterwards when He will call you by a single call, behold, you will come out from the earth.) This is like the Ayat: يَوْمَ يَدْعُوكُمْ فَتَسْتَجِيبُونَ بِحَمْدِهِ وَتَظُنُّونَ إِن لَّبِثْتُمْ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً (On the Day when He will call you, and you will answer with His praise and obedience, and you will think that you have stayed but a little while!) (17:52) فَإِنَّمَا هِىَ زَجْرَةٌ وَحِدَةٌ - فَإِذَا هُم بِالسَّاهِرَةِ (But it will be only a single Zajrah. When behold, they find themselves on the surface of the earth alive after their death. ) (79:13-14), and إِن كَانَتْ إِلاَّ صَيْحَةً وَحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ جَمِيعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ (It will be but a single Sayhah, so behold they will all be brought up before Us!) (36:53).

قیام ارض و سما اللہ تعالیٰ کی عظمت پر دلالت کرنے والی ایک اور نشانی بیان کی جارہی ہے کہ آسمانوں پر اس کے حکم سے بجلی کوندتی ہے جسے دیکھ کر کبھی تمہیں دہشت لگنے لگتی ہے کہ کہیں ایسا نہ ہو کہ کڑک کسی کو ہلاک کردے کہیں بجلی گرے وغیرہ اور کبھی تمہیں امید بندھتی ہے کہ اچھا ہوا اب بارش برسے گی پانی کی ریل پیل ہوگی ترسالی ہوجائے گی وغیرہ۔ وہی ہے جو آسمان سے پانی اتارتا ہے اور اس زمین کو جو خشک پڑی ہوئی تھی جس پر نام نشان کی کوئی ہریاول نہ تھی مثل مردے کے بیکار تھی اس بارش سے وہ زندہ کردینے پر قادر ہے۔ اس کی ایک نشانی یہ بھی ہے کہ زمین و آسمان اسی کے حکم سے قائم ہیں وہ آسمان کو زمین پر گرنے نہیں دیتا اور آسمان کو تھامے ہوئے ہے اور انہیں زوال سے بچائے ہوئے ہے۔ حضرت عمر بن خطاب ؓ جب کوئی تاکیدی قسم کھانا چاہتے تو فرماتے اس اللہ کی قسم جس کے حکم سے زمین و آسمان ٹھہرے ہوئے ہیں۔ پھر قیامت کے دن وہ زمین و آسمان کو بدل دے گا مردے اپنی قبروں سے زندہ کرکے نکالے جائنگے۔ خود اللہ انہیں آواز دے گا اور یہ صرف ایک آواز پر زندہ ہو کر اپنی قبروں سے نکل کھڑے ہونگے۔ جیسے اور آیت میں ہے کہ جس دن وہ تمہیں پکارے گا تم اس کی حمد کرتے ہوئے اسے جواب دو گے اور یقین کرلوگے کہ تم بہت ہی کم رہے۔ اور آیت میں ہے (فَاِنَّمَا ھِيَ زَجْرَةٌ وَّاحِدَةٌ 13؀ۙ) 79۔ النازعات :13) صرف ایک ہی آواز سے ساری مخلوق میدان حشر میں جمع ہوجائے گی اور آیت میں ہے (اِنْ كَانَتْ اِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَّاحِدَةً فَاِذَا هُمْ جَمِيْعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُوْنَ 53؀) 36۔ يس :53) یعنی وہ تو صرف ایک آواز ہوگی جسے سنتے ہی سب کے سب ہمارے سامنے حاضر ہوجائیں گے۔
