Ayah Study

Thus We relate to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) some information of what happened before. And indeed We have given you from Us a Reminder (this Qur’ân).

they will abide in this [state], and grievous for them will be the weight [of that burden] on the Day of Resurrection

اس طرح پر ہم تم سے وہ حالات بیان کرتے ہیں جو گذر چکے ہیں۔ اور ہم نے تمہیں اپنے پاس سے نصیحت (کی کتاب) عطا فرمائی ہے

يمتن الله تعالى على نبيه صلى الله عليه وسلم بما قصه عليه من أنباء السابقين، وأخبار السالفين، كهذه القصة العظيمة، وما فيها من الأحكام وغيرها، التي لا ينكرها أحد من أهل الكتاب، فأنت لم تدرس أخبار الأولين، ولم تتعلم ممن دراها، فإخبارك بالحق اليقين من أخبارهم، دليل على أنك رسول الله حقا، وما جئت به صدق، ولهذا قال: { وَقَدْ آتَيْنَاكَ مِنْ لَدُنَّا } أي: عطية نفيسة، ومنحة جزيلة من عندنا. { ذِكْرًا } وهو هذا القرآن الكريم، ذكر للأخبار السابقة واللاحقة، وذكر يتذكر به ما لله تعالى من الأسماء والصفات الكاملة، ويتذكر به أحكام الأمر والنهي، وأحكام الجزاء، وهذا مما يدل على أن القرآن مشتمل على أحسن ما يكون من الأحكام، التي تشهد العقول والفطر بحسنها وكمالها، ويذكر هذا القرآن ما أودع الله فيها، وإذا كان القرآن ذكرا للرسول ولأمته، فيجب تلقيه بالقبول والتسليم والانقياد والتعظيم، وأن يهتدى بنوره إلى الصراط المستقيم، وأن يقبلوا عليه بالتعلم والتعليم.

كما قصصنا عليك - أيها الرسول - أنباء موسى وفرعون وقومهما، نخبرك بأنباء السابقين لك. وقد آتيناك مِن عندنا هذا القرآن ذكرى لمن يتذكر.

يقول تعالى لنبيه محمد كما قصصنا عليك خبر موسى وما جرى له مع فرعون وجنوده على الجلية والأمر الواقع كذلك نقص عليك الأخبار الماضية كما وقعت من غير زيادة ولا نقص هذا وقد آتيناك من لدنا أي من عندنا ذكرا وهو القرآن العظيم الذي لا يأتيه الباطل من بين يديه ولا من خلفه تنزيل من حكيم حميد الذي لم يعط نبي من الأنبياء منذ بعثوا إلى أن ختموا بمحمد كتابا مثله ولا أكمل منه ولا أجمع لخبر ما سبق وخبر ما هو كائن وحكم الفصل بين الناس منه.

The Entire Qur'an is the Remembrance of Allah and mentioning thePunishment of Those Who turn away from It Allah, the Exalted, is saying to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, `We have told you (O Muhammad) the story of Musa and what happened with him, Fir`awn and his armies, just as it actually happened. Likewise, We relate to you the information of the past just as it happened, without any increase or decrease. We also gave you a remembrance from Us, the Mighty Qur'an, no falsehood comes to it from before it or behind it.' It is a revelation from One Most Wise, Most Praiseworthy. No Prophet was given any Book like it or more complete than it, since the time of the previous Prophets who were sent, until their being sealed off with the coming of Muhammad ﷺ. No Prophet was given any Book containing as much information than the Qur'an about what has past and what would be. The judgement concerning the distinction between mankind is taken from it. Therefore, Allah says about it, مَّنْ أَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ (Whoever turns away from it,) This means whoever denies it and turns away from following its commands and instructions, while seeking guidance from other than it, then Allah will mislead him and send him on the path to Hell. This is why Allah says, مَّنْ أَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ فَإِنَّهُ يَحْمِلُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَـمَةِ وِزْراً (Whoever turns away from it, verily, they will bear a heavy burden on the Day of Resurrection.) .Burden here means sin. This is as Allah says, وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِهِ مِنَ الاٌّحْزَابِ فَالنَّارُ مَوْعِدُهُ (But those of the sects that reject it , the Fire will be their promised meeting place.) 11:17 This applies generally to whoever the Qur'an reaches of the Arabs, the non-Arabs, the People of the Book and others. This is as Allah says, لاٌّنذِرَكُمْ بِهِ وَمَن بَلَغَ (That I may therewith warn you and whomsoever it may reach.) 6:19 The Qur'an is a final warning for everyone it reaches. Whoever follows it, then he is rightly guided and whoever opposes it and turns away from it, then he is misguided. He will be wretched in this life, and he is promised that on the Day of Resurrection his abode will be the Hellfire. For this reason Allah says, مَّنْ أَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ فَإِنَّهُ يَحْمِلُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَـمَةِ وِزْراً خَـلِدِينَ فِيهِ (Whoever turns away from it, verily, they will bear a heavy burden on the Day of Resurrection. They will abide in that.) 20:100-101 They will not be able to avoid this or escape it. وَسَآءَ لَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَـمَةِ حِمْلاً (And evil indeed will it be that load for them on the Day of Resurrection.)

سب سے اعلی کتاب فرمان ہے کے جیسے حضرت موسیٰ ؑ کا قصہ اصلی رنگ میں آپ کے سامنے بیان ہوا ایسے ہی اور بھی حالات گزشتہ آپ کے سامنے ہم ہو بہو بیان فرما رہے ہیں۔ ہم نے تو آپ کو قرآن عظیم دے رکھا ہے جس کے پاس باطل پھٹک نہیں سکتا کیونکہ آپ حکمت وحمد والے ہیں کسی نبی کو کوئی کتاب اس سے زیادہ کمال والی اور اس سے زیادہ جامع اور اس سے بابرکت نہیں ملی۔ ہر طرح سب سے اعلیٰ کتاب یہی کلام اللہ شریف ہے جس میں گذشتہ کی خبریں آئندہ کے امور اور ہر کام کے طریقے مذکور ہیں۔ اسے نہ ماننے والا، اس سے منہ پھیرنے والا، اس کے احکام سے بھاگنے والا، اس کے سوا کسی اور میں ہدایت کو تلاش کرنے والا گمراہ ہے اور جہنم کی طرف جانے والا ہے۔ قیامت کو وہ اپنا بوجھ آپ اٹھائے گا اور اس میں دب جائے گا اس کے ساتھ جو بھی کفر کرے وہ جہنمی ہے کتابی ہو یا غیر کتابی عجمی ہو یا عربی اس کا منکر جہنمی ہے۔ جیسے فرمان ہے کہ میں تمہیں بھی ہوشیار کرنے والا ہوں اور جسے بھی یہ پہنچے پس اس کا متبع ہدایت والا اور اس کا مخالف ضلالت و شقاوت والا جو یہاں برباد ہوا وہ وہاں دوزخی بنا۔ اس عذاب سے اسے نہ تو کبھی چٹھکارا حاصل ہو نہ بچ سکے برا بوجھ ہے جو اس پر اس دن ہوگا۔
