An-Naazi'aatسُورَةُ النَّازِعَاتِ

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

ان (فرشتوں) کی قسم جو ڈوب کر کھینچ لیتے ہیں

The Noble Quran

By those (angels) who pull out (the souls of the disbelievers and the wicked) with great violence.

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

اور ان کی جو آسانی سے کھول دیتے ہیں

The Noble Quran

By those (angels) who gently take out (the souls of the believers).

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

اور ان کی جو تیرتے پھرتے ہیں

The Noble Quran

And by those that swim along (i.e. angels or planets in their orbits).

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

پھر لپک کر آگے بڑھتے ہیں

The Noble Quran

And by those that press forward as in a race (i.e. the angels or stars or the horses).

پھر (دنیا کے) کاموں کا انتظام کرتے ہیں

The Noble Quran

And by those angels who arrange to do the Commands of their Lord, (so verily, you disbelievers will be called to account).

(کہ وہ دن آ کر رہے گا) جس دن زمین کو بھونچال آئے گا

The Noble Quran

On the Day (when the first blowing of the Trumpet is blown), the earth and the mountains will shake violently (and everybody will die).

پھر اس کے پیچھے اور (بھونچال) آئے گا

The Noble Quran

The second blowing of the Trumpet follows it (and everybody will be resurrected).

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

اس دن (لوگوں) کے دل خائف ہو رہے ہوں گے

The Noble Quran

(Some) hearts that Day will shake with fear and anxiety.

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

اور آنکھیں جھکی ہوئی

The Noble Quran

Their eyes will be downcast.

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

(کافر) کہتے ہیں کیا ہم الٹے پاؤں پھر لوٹ جائیں گے

The Noble Quran

They say: "Shall we indeed be returned to (our) former state of life?

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

بھلا جب ہم کھوکھلی ہڈیاں ہو جائیں گے (تو پھر زندہ کئے جائیں گے)

The Noble Quran

"Even after we are crumbled bones?"

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

کہتے ہیں کہ یہ لوٹنا تو( موجب) زیاں ہے

The Noble Quran

They say: "It would in that case, be a return with loss!"

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

وہ تو صرف ایک ڈانٹ ہوگی

The Noble Quran

But it will be only a single Zajrah [shout (i.e., the second blowing of the Trumpet)], (See Verse 37:19).

اس وقت وہ (سب) میدان (حشر) میں آ جمع ہوں گے

The Noble Quran

When behold, they find themselves on the surface of the earth alive after their death,

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

بھلا تم کو موسیٰ کی حکایت پہنچی ہے

The Noble Quran

Has there come to you the story of Mûsâ (Moses)?

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

جب اُن کے پروردگار نے ان کو پاک میدان (یعنی) طویٰ میں پکارا

The Noble Quran

When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tûwâ,

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

(اور حکم دیا) کہ فرعون کے پاس جاؤ وہ سرکش ہو رہا ہے

The Noble Quran

Go to Fir‘aun (Pharaoh); verily he has transgressed all bounds (in crimes, sins, polytheism, disbelief).

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

اور (اس سے) کہو کہ کیا تو چاہتا ہے کہ پاک ہو جائے؟

The Noble Quran

And say to him: "Would you purify yourself (from the sin of disbelief by becoming a believer)?"

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

اور میں تجھے تیرے پروردگار کا رستہ بتاؤں تاکہ تجھ کو خوف (پیدا) ہو

The Noble Quran

"And that I guide you to your Lord, so you should fear Him?"

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

غرض انہوں نے اس کو بڑی نشانی دکھائی

The Noble Quran

Then [Mûsâ (Moses)] showed him the great sign (miracles).

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

مگر اس نے جھٹلایا اور نہ مانا

The Noble Quran

But [Fir‘aun (Pharaoh)] belied and disobeyed.

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

پھر لوٹ گیا اور تدبیریں کرنے لگا

The Noble Quran

Then he turned his back, striving (against Allâh).

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

اور (لوگوں کو) اکٹھا کیا اور پکارا

The Noble Quran

Then he gathered (his people) and cried aloud,

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

کہنے لگا کہ تمہارا سب سے بڑا مالک میں ہوں

The Noble Quran

Saying: "I am your lord, most high."

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

تو خدا نے اس کو دنیا اور آخرت (دونوں) کے عذاب میں پکڑ لیا

The Noble Quran

So Allâh, seized him with punishment for his last<sup foot_note=155030>1</sup> and first<sup foot_note=155031>2</sup> transgression. [Tafsir At-Tabari]

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

جو شخص (خدا سے) ڈر رکھتا ہے اس کے لیے اس (قصے) میں عبرت ہے

Verily, in this is an instructive admonition for whosoever fears Allâh.

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

بھلا تمہارا بنانا آسان ہے یا آسمان کا؟ اسی نے اس کو بنایا

The Noble Quran

Are you more difficult to create or is the heaven that He constructed?

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

اس کی چھت کو اونچا کیا اور پھر اسے برابر کر دیا

The Noble Quran

He raised its height, and has perfected it.

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

اور اسی نے رات کو تاریک بنایا اور (دن کو) دھوپ نکالی

The Noble Quran

Its night He covers with darkness and its forenoon He brings out (with light)

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

اور اس کے بعد زمین کو پھیلا دیا

The Noble Quran

And after that He spread the earth,

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

اسی نے اس میں سے اس کا پانی نکالا اور چارا اگایا

The Noble Quran

And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture.

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

اور اس پر پہاڑوں کابوجھ رکھ دیا

The Noble Quran

And the mountains He has fixed firmly,

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

یہ سب کچھ تمہارے اور تمہارے چارپایوں کے فائدے کے لیے (کیا )

The Noble Quran

(To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle.

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

تو جب بڑی آفت آئے گی

The Noble Quran

But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense) -

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

اس دن انسان اپنے کاموں کو یاد کرے گا

The Noble Quran

The Day when man shall remember what he strove for.

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

اور دوزخ دیکھنے والے کے سامنے نکال کر رکھ دی جائے گی

The Noble Quran

And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees.

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

تو جس نے سرکشی کی

The Noble Quran

Then for him who transgressed all bounds, (in disbelief, oppression and evil deeds of disobedience to Allâh).

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

اور دنیا کی زندگی کو مقدم سمجھا

The Noble Quran

And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts),

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

اس کا ٹھکانہ دوزخ ہے

The Noble Quran

Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire;

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

اور جو اپنے پروردگار کے سامنے کھڑے ہونے سے ڈرتا اور جی کو خواہشوں سے روکتا رہا

But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires and lusts.

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

اس کا ٹھکانہ بہشت ہے

The Noble Quran

Verily, Paradise will be his abode.

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

(اے پیغمبر، لوگ )تم سے قیامت کے بارے میں پوچھتے ہیں کہ اس کا وقوع کب ہو گا؟

The Noble Quran

They ask you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) about the Hour - when will be its appointed time?

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

سو تم اس کے ذکر سے کس فکر میں ہو

The Noble Quran

You have no knowledge to say anything about it.

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

اس کا منتہا (یعنی واقع ہونے کا وقت) تمہارے پروردگار ہی کو (معلوم ہے)

The Noble Quran

To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof?

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

جو شخص اس سے ڈر رکھتا ہے تم تو اسی کو ڈر سنانے والے ہو

The Noble Quran

You (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) are only a warner for those who fear it,

Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

جب وہ اس کو دیکھیں گے (تو ایسا خیال کریں گے) کہ گویا( دنیا میں صرف) ایک شام یا صبح رہے تھے

The Noble Quran

The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning.
