Full Sharh — Sahih al-Bukhari 5830
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنِ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ عُتْبَةَ فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ عُمَرُ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ يُلْبَسُ الْحَرِيرُ فِي الدُّنْيَا، إِلاَّ لَمْ يُلْبَسْ فِي الآخِرَةِ مِنْهُ ". حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُثْمَانَ،، وَأَشَارَ أَبُو عُثْمَانَ، بِإِصْبَعَيْهِ الْمُسَبِّحَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى.
English Translation
Narrated Abu `Uthman:While we were with `Utba. `Umar wrote to us: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "There is none who wears silk in this world except that he will wear nothing of it in the Hereafter."
