Full Sharh — Ash-Shama'il Al-Muhammadiyah 186
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ، عَنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ رِيَاحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ رِيَاحِ بْنِ عَبِيدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْ طَعَامِهِ، قَالَ: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا وَجَعَلَنَا مُسْلِمِينَ.
English Translation
Abu Sa‘id al-Khudri said:: “Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) used to say, when he had finished his meal: ‘Praise be to Allah, who has fed us and quenched our thirst, and has made us Muslims'!”
