Full Sharh — Riyad as-Salihin 1178
وعن عائشة رضي الله عنها أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "الحمى فيح جهنم فأبردوها بالماء" ((متفق عليه)).
English Translation
'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) said:: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Fever comes from the vehement raging of Hell, so cool it with water.".
