Full Sharh — Riyad as-Salihin 1089
عن جرير بن عبد الله رضي الله عنه قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : "أيما عبد أبق، فقد برئت منه الذمة " ((رواه مسلم))
English Translation
Jarir bin Abdullah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "If a slave runs away from his master, his responsibility to him is absolved.".
