Full Sharh — Riyad as-Salihin 635

English Translation

Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:: A man asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): "Tell me where I will be if I am killed while fighting in the way of Allah?" He (ﷺ) replied, "In Jannah." The man threw away the few dates which he had in his hand, jumped into the battlefield and fought on till he was killed.
