Full Sharh — Riyad as-Salihin 100
وعن سمرة رضى الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : "إلبسوا البياض؛ فإنها أطهر وأطيب، وكفنوا فيها موتاكم". ((رواه النسائي والحاكم))
English Translation
Samurah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, 'Wear white clothes because they are the purest and they are closest to modesty; and shroud the dead in it.".
