Full Sharh — Mishkat al-Masabih 4277

English Translation

Umm 'Atiya al-Ansariya told that the Prophet said to a woman who used to perform circumcision (on girls) in Medina, “Do not cut severely, as that is better for a woman and more desirable to a husband.” Abu Dawud transmitted it, saying this is a weak tradition one of whose transmitters is an unknown man.
