Full Sharh — Mishkat al-Masabih 3202
وَعَنْهَا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «المُتوَفّى عَنْهَا زوجُها لَا تَلبسُ المُعَصفَرَ مِنَ الثِّيَابِ وَلَا الْمُمَشَّقَةَ وَلَا الْحُلِيَّ وَلَا تَخْتَضِبُ وَلَا تَكْتَحِلُ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ
English Translation
She reported the Prophet as saying, “One whose husband has died must not wear garments dyed with saffron or red clay, or jewels, and she must not apply henna or collyrium. Abu Dawud and Nasa'i transmitted it.
