Full Sharh — Mishkat al-Masabih 2729
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَلَقَّوُا الْجَلَبَ فَمَنْ تَلَقَّاهُ فَاشْتَرَى مِنْهُ فَإِذَا أَتَى سَيِّدُهُ السُّوقَ فَهُوَ بالخَيارِ» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
English Translation
He reported God’s Messenger as saying, “Do not go out to meet what is being brought .* * He may find he could have a higher price in the market, and so he has the right to cancel the deal. Muslim transmitted it.
