Full Sharh — Mishkat al-Masabih 2155

وَعَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا دَعَا فَرفع يَدَيْهِ مَسَحَ وَجْهَهُ بِيَدَيْهِ رَوَى الْبَيْهَقِيُّ الْأَحَادِيثَ الثَّلَاثَة فِي «الدَّعْوَات الْكَبِير»

English Translation

As-Sa’ib b. Yazid, on his father’s authority, said that when the Prophet made supplication and raised his hands, he wiped his face with them. Baihaqi transmitted the three traditions in ad-Da'awat al-kabir.
