Full Sharh — Mishkat al-Masabih 209
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " خَصْلَتَانِ لَا تَجْتَمِعَانِ فِي مُنَافِقٍ: حُسْنُ سَمْتٍ وَلَا فِقْهٌ فِي الدّين ". رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
English Translation
Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying, “Two qualities are not found together in a hypocrite:: good behaviour and knowledge of religion.” Tirmidhi transmitted it.
