Full Sharh — Bulugh al-Maram 1757
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ -رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا- قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -يَقُولُ: { اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ زَوَالِ نِعْمَتِكَ, وَتَحَوُّلِ عَافِيَتِكَ, وَفَجْأَةِ نِقْمَتِكَ, وَجَمِيعِ سَخَطِكَ } أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ . 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه مسلم (2739) وكذا وقع في" الأصلين":" فجأة"، ووقع في مسلم:" فجاءة"، وهما لغتان، والمراد: بغتة.
English Translation
Ibn 'Umar (RAA) narrated, ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to supplicate saying, “O Allah! I seek refuge in you from the withholding of your favor, the decline of the good health you have given, the suddenness of your vengeance and from all forms of your wrath.” Related by Muslim.
