Full Sharh — Bulugh al-Maram 1718
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { إِيَّاكُمْ وَالظَّنَّ, فَإِنَّ اَلظَّنَّ أَكْذَبُ اَلْحَدِيثِ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ . 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه البخاري (6094)، ومسلم (2607) (105) والسياق لمسلم.
English Translation
Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:: “Beware of suspicion, for suspicion amounts to the worst form of lying.” Agreed upon.
