Full Sharh — Bulugh al-Maram 1406
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ اِدْفَعُوا اَلْحُدُودَ, مَا وَجَدْتُمْ لَهَا مَدْفَعًا } أَخْرَجَهُ اِبْنُ مَاجَهْ, وَإِسْنَادُهُ ضَعِيفٌ 11 - ضعيف. رواه ابن ماجه (2545).
English Translation
Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:: "Avert the infliction of the prescribed punishment as long as you find a way out (i.e. to avoid their infliction). Related by Ibn Majah with a weak chain of narrators.
