Full Sharh — Bulugh al-Maram 1089
عَنْ أَنَسٍ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ : { مَرَّ اَلنَّبِيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -بِتَمْرَةٍ فِي اَلطَّرِيقِ، فَقَالَ : " لَوْلَا أَنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ لَأَكَلْتُهَا" } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْه ِ 1 .1 - صحيح . رواه البخاري ( 2431 ) ، ومسلم ( 1071 ) والسياق للبخاري.
English Translation
Narrated Anas (RA):: The Prophet (ﷺ) came upon a date on the road and said, "Were it not that I fear it may be part of the Sadaqah I would eat it." .
