حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ يَعْنِي أَبَا زَيْدٍ الْقَسْمَلِيَّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ كُنْتُ رَجُلًا مَذَّاءً فَسَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ فِي الْمَذْيِ الْوُضُوءُ وَفِي الْمَنِيِّ الْغُسْلُ.
English Translation
It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:: I was a man who emitted a great deal of madhi. I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about that and he said: `For madhi, do wudoo` and for mani do ghusl.”
