Full Sharh — Musnad Ahmad 775
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ يَعْنِي الطَّحَّانَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُطَرِّفٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَ الرَّجُلُ صَوْتَهُ بِالْقُرْآنِ قَبْلَ الْعَتَمَةِ وَبَعْدَهَا يُغَلِّطُ أَصْحَابَهُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ.
English Translation
It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade a man to raise his voice in reciting the Qur`an before and after `lsha`, lest he cause his companions to make a mistake in their prayer.”
