Shaikhul-Islām Muhammad Ibn Abdul-Wahhāb (rahimahullāh) said that Allah, the Most High, said: وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ تِبْيَـٰنًا لِّكُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ “And We have sent down to you the Book as clarification for all things.” An-Nasā’ī and others reported from the Prophet (salallāhu ʿalaihi wasallam) that he saw in the hand of ʿUmar (Allah be pleased with him) a page from the Tawrāt, so the Messenger (salallāhu ʿalaihi wasallam) said: “Are you hesitant or uncertain, O son of Khattāb? I have come to you with that which is pure and clear proof.
